When Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) arrive at the scene of an accident or emergency, they are trained to look for medical identification. Most emergency vehicles are equipped with a laptop and USB ports where the MedIDPlus band can be immediately accessed. If you are wearing a MedIDPLUS band, EMTs will have access to critical vital statistics. They'll understand your special needs, current medications and allergies, know about your emergency contacts, and will be able to direct personal questions and requests.
